Greatly welcomed by a whole bunch of DJ’s
including Gilles Peterson, Rainer Trüby, Patrick Forge,
Dr Bob Jones and the likes (not to mention our very own Nik Weston)
after the recent release of «Rhodesmode », Perry Hemus changes to the
upper gears while issueing the debut-LP/CD of the same name on Woodland label.
Presented as a key path between the soul/jazz of 4Hero and the nu-bossa
melodies of Nicola Conte, the aformentioned reach reach the hearts of the
fans of latin edged jazz who prefer new to nu and, to a wider extend, those of
the true music lovers. Watch dis space soon with more details to come on a chat
with Hemus and a full review of his work due to hit the streets on 01/15.
