More Funk Into It – Chapter 7

Starting this second month of the year the way we did on the previous one with
another drop of exquisite vibes hailing from Schema Records as an appetizer to
their forthcoming compilation of the likes under the form of this 2 tracker. As
its subtitle suggests, it's about funk at its deepest as brilliantly shown by
Koom. h with the aptly named "Mr Cool" on the A-Side twisting atmospheric
abstract jazzy vibes over a… cool groove quite reminiscent of Déjà's
classic "You & Me Tonight" recorded some 18 years ago (see mixtape #01
on our audio mix section).
As for the flipside, it's nothing but another
piece of bossa influenced beauty by the likes of champions of the genre, The
Dining Rooms as revamped by 7 Samurai with the help of double bassist
Jonas Hermes. Hmm, can't wait to hearing the whole album !!!
