Derived from beyondjazz.net website, the Beyondjazz Sampler is back ! After a very successful first edition, here’s another CD with fresh tunes from fresh producers in the future jazz & broken beat genre. These samplers are a showcase to introduce DJ's, label owners, organisers and promoters worldwide to the sounds of some new kids on the block... The response to the first sampler - released March 2004 - was overwhelming with more than half of the productions officially signed on labels like Sonar Kollektiv, Amalgama and Still Music.

The moods and tempos on Sampler 2 range from lazy fat hip hop beats to spacey breaks. With early positive feedback from the likes of Nik Weston, Alan 'Cuki' Brown, Philarmonix, Gerd a.o. our distinguished collegues expect  this second volume will be a success once again.
