It is with great thought and contemplation that I send this letter to you, the Members and Supporters of Together in Spirit. It is a letter of thanks. It’s a letter of completion. It’s a letter stating that the time has come to end the weekly party.

I personally thank everyone for gracing the dancefloor over these last 4 ½ years. From Sunday’s @ Demerara to Friday’s @ Demerara to Friday’s @ Langston, we danced, we rejoiced, we praised, we toned our bodies, we fed our souls and we cleansed our minds. Weekly, the Spirit freely flowed whether 50 or 500 people showed up. We whooped and hollered to Soulful tunes of yesteryear (The Classics) and today’s (soulful house) on the 1 & 2’s. My life is not the same since being on this spiritual journey.

Over the next few weeks we are going to get down with the get down, reflect, reminisce and celebrate the good times we once had and speak about what’s next. Soulful house music is alive and kicking. Together in Spirit is just shifting how it does business. It is time to close one chapter and open others. Together in Spirit is not over, we just will be doing things a bit different.
