As we are just a
fortnight away from this year’s Winter Music Conference and
M3 Summit, the list of parties gets longer and longer. And as in
previous years, there are too many parties with many interesting ones going on
at the same time... so I can't really tell right now what parties I'll be going
to.
Talking about
this weeks update, the Picks of the Week spot is taken by two slammin'
packages : Louie Vega releases uplifting, acoustic sounding remixes of
"Special" by Sara Devine, while Steal Vybe are back with the
outstanding "Musical Journey's EP".
For the
underground headz, there is the instrumental "Stars" by Luv
City, a deep house excursion with a superb edit by Sting International.
Also in this territory fall the remixes courtesy of Marlon D and
Miguel Migs of "Black Music" by Franky Boissy featuring Roland
Clark.
For the lovers of quality music, there is the Joe Claussell produced
spiritual "Smile" by Alumna, and "Unconditional Love" by Selan
who teamed up with DJ Spinna for this multi keyboard extravaganza.
The Moves are back with "Remember", a bumpy houser with warm melodies and
sweet vocals.
Fanatix
are on a roll at the moment, and their remixes of Terri
Walker's "Whoopsie daisy" are set to destroy the dancefloors. The
same goes for the DJ Spen remixes of the classic "Misery" from Kimara
Lovelace. These mixes are already causing damage wherever they're
played.
