This I dunno neither, but what I can say is that the upcoming guy has obvious things if not attitude in common with the late Marvin (Gaye), evolving over a cool R&B/phonky groove with that contemporary approach alla Dwele or D’Angelo to name but a few. Quite a gorgeous opener as an apetizer to a full (debut) LP awaited in the weeks to come. Ooops by the way, I was to forget to specify that this production comes courtesy of… MAW’s ½ Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzalez (don’t ever know when those guys sleep, man).
