Result of a joint venture between US labels West End Records and King Street at the end of 2004, Blaze’s Underground Dance Artists United for Life project is to get a UK release on suSU label including a new unmixed bonus CD featuring a selection of fantastic new remixes and unreleased tracks.
Keep Hope Alive sees Blaze dish up a classy selection of soulful productions featuring a heavyweight selection of vocalists including Kenny Bobien, Joi Cardwell, Arnold Jarvis, Ultra Naté, Byron Stingily, Barbara Tucker, Dawn Tallman, Michelle Weeks, Darryl D’ Bonneau, Sabrynaah Pope and Keith Thompson along with many others who have donated their talents to this project.
2 exclusive brand new tracks have been added to this release including Blaze’s‘Not Far Away’ and Stephanie Cooke’s‘What Makes The World Go Round’, along with some exclusive made in the UK suSU remixes including the number One Dancefloor smash Dennis Ferrer’s remix of Barbara Tucker’s’Most Precious Love’, a Fanatix Productions (aka Aaron Ross & Neil Pierce) remix of Ultra Nate’s ’A Wonderful Place’ and a Kiko Navarro remix of Byron Stingily’s ’Spread Love’.
On top of this suSU will be releasing a special limited edition 8 track DJ friendly vinyl package containing even more exclusive remixes containing a Roots Extended Mix of - Blaze ‘Not Far Away’, a Bobby & Steve and James Ratcliff remix of Ultra Naté’s ‘A Wonderful Place’ with Bah Samba’s Julian Bendall on keys + flute & sax from Nathan Haines; and a Phil Hooton remix of Kenny Bobien – ‘Hiya Luv’.
