Music and women to me have very much in common, beginning with the fact that there’s nothing like’em emotionally speakin’. Following this path, I would tend to think that producing a piece of music is about the same as a lady getting herself ready before going out, with some of them naturally able to show the best out of them almost with nothing when others never will and I would tend to say that it’s simply a matter of taste which you have good… or not ! Known for previous works on various labels such as Yoruba and Mahoganni, Jesse Outlaw comes up with this sober soulful jazzy groove driven by a phat phonky bassline creating the right environment for the vibrant interpretation of singer Bernard Harris.
