I'm sayin' it once, hear me TWICE, this is quite possibly, the BEST deep house compilation album of all time, hands down ! Two CD's of expertly mixed classics, and not the same old classics you hear recycled on other albums, but true house classics that sent seismic waves across dancefloors in New York City and around the world. If you went clubbin’ "back in the day", you'll recognize these gems. This is truly music to dance to, music to f*ck to, and music to drive to. A cavalcade of bass, beats and bliss, the music will leave you throbbing on the dancefloor.
Shout out to DJ Mr. V who makes his debut with yet another club banger ‘V Gets Jazzy’. Pure energy ! One of our personal favorite tracks is track 3, ‘Koro Koro’ by No Smoke. We first heard this track at a college party in NYU in 19*****. The track killed the dancefloor then and it does it now. Definitely a track that influenced a lot of tribal/afro house heard in years to come. Louie deserves a Grammy for the way he mixes ‘Bang Bang Your Mine’ underneath ‘Koro Koro’. As the Brits would say, CLASS ! Other gems on this album include the 1991 club anthem ‘Deeper’ by Susan Clarke. The bassline is bananas !

But wait chil'ren, there's more! CD2, track 15 Get It Off will bob your head in delight ! Kerri Chandler on production, DJ Deep on the remix.
