Wibutee is to present new material during an exclusive showcase in Oslo on Nov.7 at Parkteatret Scene. The show is mainly for invited guests but there is a very limited number of tickets sold at Parkteatret Cafe (Olaf Ryes Plass in Oslo) from Thursday Oct. 27th. The cafe is open from 12pm daily (1pm on Sundays) and you need to be 18 years old to buy a ticket. CC: 50kr. Doors open 8pm, show start 9pm.
Wibutee, a 6 piece band featuring Håkon Kornstad (sax), Wetle Holte (drums), Rune Brøndbo (synth, electronics), Tor Egil Kreken (bass, guitar), Anders Asebøe (sound design) & Kyrre Heldal Karlsen (light design) are currently working intensely on their new album due out in Norway spring 2006. The band is merging their electrojazz approach with a more organic, immediate and acoustic expression, producing highly exciting and very promising music.
