Defected records has announced today that it is to begin a new commercial venture. The Defected Artists & DJ Management Agency goes live as of the 6th of February 2006.
Based in Soho, the agency will represent 6 of its main international DJ artists, Sandy Rivera, Simon Dunmore, Paul Farris, Copyright, Aaron Ross and Andy Daniell.
Bringing the agency ‘in house’ will enable Defected records to strategically build their artists profiles worldwide and to coincide with album and single tours.
Preeti Mistry formerly of Decked Out DJ Agency takes on the management of the new venture.
Simon Dunmore A & R Director say’s: “We will now be able to send our DJ’s on tour to key territories like Australia, America and Japan to promote their album’s and singles strategically with the knowledge that every gig performed counts to developing their profile in that region ”.
