NYC label King Street goes 13 this year ; this makin’ it the longest (house) label in activity today. On a quite personal point of view I’d like to send Hisa Ishioka’s company not only my congrats for such a constancy qualitywise along the years (check out their latest releases), but also my best wishes to this bunch of peeps who’ve always welcome me as one of theirs each time of my visits in the Big Apple since our very first contact. This of course include Hisa, but also names which should speak for themselves for many of us in this community such as Bryan Tollin and Lancelot who happened to be local correspondants when I was in charge of French mag Coda’s editorial, then Rob Wunderman and all of those in the house since incl. Joe B (can’t wait to go back to this Italian restaurant where I got the most awesome gazpaccho in my life), Assaf (shalom), Taka (aligato for being who you are), Jason (always on the run) Roman (zdraz woutje tovaritch) and John (by the way Sir when is it that you reestablish our site in your links section ???). Peace y’all.
