Defected Records launches its new monthly ‘audio on demand’ podcast service entitled Defected In the House – Deep Down and Digital. It will be available every first Monday of the month.
Each month you will be able to download a 30 minute audio insight into the world of Defected, available directly through the dedicated podcast page on i-Tunes and Yahoo portals with an exclusive extended 60 minute version on defected.com.
For those of you that that are unfamiliar with the term ‘podcast’ it comes from Apples ‘I-Pod’ and the word ‘broadcast’ to bring us a new way of delivering radio shows or DJ mixes in MP3 format quickly and easily onto your portable music player, desktop or laptop.
The podcast takes the format of a radio show where you will get upfront previews of singles, albums, artist interviews and event information plus an exclusive 15 minute ‘mini’ mix from some of the worlds best DJ’s, delivered directly to your specified MP3 player. It will provide an invaluable way to stay ahead of releases and to find out what’s coming up on Defected ahead of the rest. It is presented by the notorious BBC 1Xtra DJ and Soul Heaven resident Aaron Ross, who brings his dynamic delivery to the show.
Defected In the House Deep Down and Digital is available as a free download from Defected.com, i -Tunes or Yahoo. Click ‘subscribe’ on the i - Tunes or Yahoo podcast page and every new episode will be automatically delivered for you to listen to anytime.
Forthcoming features include interviews with the likes of Barbara Tucker, Sandy Rivera, Simon Dunmore and Junior Jack, with a special Miami edition including five exclusive ‘live’ DJ mixes by Martin Solveig, Masters At Work, Junior Jack, Sandy Rivera and Barbara Tucker. These can be downloaded one per day from 27th - 31st March.
