We have made every effort to contain this fantastic news. We have exerted every effort to make sure that all of the details were covered before we shared this with you. We have spent hours trying to come up with the best way to let you that...YOU SPOKE! WE LISTENED! WE’RE GOING HOME! You were there when we started in 1991 on Hubert Street. You were there when we moved to 27th Street. You were there when we moved back to Hubert Street and you remained loyal on 39th Street. The unwavering support of our endearing "heads" has resulted in crowning ClubShelter as the longest running dance party in New York City. Without your devotion, there would be no ClubShelter. We are eternally grateful to you for your part in this experience. ClubShelter is going home. ClubShelter is going to a place where we can be ourselves. ClubShelter is going back downtown. With that said, our LAST PARTY on 39th street will be Saturday February 25, 2006. We will then be closed for a brief period while we finish construction and complete the move with a sound system that will leave you speechless.
