After 12 looooong kaotic months, through battles with False projects unleashing fluidic venoms, over hurdles that would make Carl Lewis cringe, we’re happy to report that DOPE JAMS is open in its physical formp.
We remain committed to bringing you timeless music with no regards for its origin, format or current hype status. However, we’re now able to make real our true mision, that which is to create a physical (not virtual) location for people to congregate and share ideas and experience in music, art and litterature. A place devoid of gossip, hype and faux personalities – that where truth talks and bullshit walks. As I think we all agree, the very idea of music is founded on sharing – yet, in a time where the sound of an actual human voice is becoming rare rand rarer, something is missing… the air that was once thick with ideas & inspiration is now thin with marketing & contrived programming. We cannot let THEM win though – Growth is bred through interaction, through touch, amidst the presence of those with like open minds…
