London house label Black Vinyl Records
announces a consistant release schedule for this first half of 2K4. Due to hit
the streets on Feb. 23 is "Friend Of The Blues", the fruit of a collaboration
between two San Fran hi-lites, Miguel Migs and Jay-J featuring
vocals from Jo-Jo Hailey with x-tra remixes by Gregory Del Piero
whose recent work on Subliminal have made him a name to watch. March 22 sees the
release of the much respected volume 4 of the Re:Cuts serie, embarking no
less than three absolute gems from the likes of Karizma ("The Power"),
Tedd Patterson with the original version of "Roots" and Groove Assassins'"House
Fantasy" which has been named amongst the 5 top tunes of 2000 by Terry Farley
in Muzik mag. Other projects due for release in this period include the
long-awaited remixes/remake of "Never Felt So Fly" by Sweden¹s man of the moment
Rasmus Faber, and brand new tracks from two portuguese signings, Paulo Rocha
and DJ Aguy. Not to mention two more references in the Re:Cuts series in
the pipeline (Black Vinyl Select and Black Vinyl Funk). Last but
not least, get ready for a refreshed BV website, to be finished any day now
including an on-line store.(more info :
