On this latest offering, Women on Wax Recordings dishes up the diva-licious duo of DJ Minx and Diviniti, also known as A Taste of the Honeys. With four funky- yet soulful songs, this EP offers something that will appeal to music lovers everywhere. “Miami Sun”- on the A side, is a bright blend of spoken word, a catchy hook, and an unstoppable rhythm. Detroit DJ and producer K. Hand (Acacia Records, Detroit History) joins the Honeys and gives her minimal and techy interpretation of original. On the flip side is an ode to women around the globe... “Essential” is a hypnotic and driven track that features Diviniti’s vocals over Minx’s intricate beats and grooves. Following the main track is the “Essential Reprise” that’s sure to be a dance floor filler! Get ready for the Honeys!
