A little more text and hyperlinks for your interest.
Next weekend I will be in Scotland.
Firstly on Friday 14th April I will be playing with the number one hustler at Far Out, DJ Movida in Edinburgh for the lovely Get Into Trouble people
The big one, Saturday 15th I will be rocking The Reading Rooms in Dundee.
For the un-initiated, this town may be slightly off the beaten track but is an oasis for the music lover. Firstly, the sound system is second to none, big, warm and plenty of weight when needed but never brash or harsh and like so many modern club sound re-enforcement 'solutions'. Think old school reggae vibe.
Also, likewise the people are big, warm and open minded musically to all good sounds. No wonder the likes of Norman Jay MBE & Gilles Peterson like playing there so much. So expect a mixed bag, some fast, some slow, some acoustic, some electronic, some Latin, some gringo and some brand new Roc edits!
So get your travel plans ready, by air, by land, by sea and try and reach-you won't be disappointed.
Also, a lot less gringo and a whole lot more Brazilian Saturday 8th April over at London's mini Baía da Guanabara with a mixed selection of Latin licks and the odd worldy beat.
