Originally released in February, this debut US single was bound for greatness. It just hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music Club Play Chart! (Issue Date 4/8/06) With big-room remixes by the super Chris Cox and progmeisters Creamer & K, the buzz in the big clubs had begun. A few weeks passed and the single was getting stronger, being added to mixshows and regular rotation on BPM, XM Satellite Radio's mainstream dance station. Now with bonus (Part 2), more soulful remixes by DFA aka Darryl James, all the pieces are put into place to satisfy all sorts of tastes, making this another pop/dance hit!

There's no disputing the success this record has created since its release over a year ago. Yet it's still being playing and people are still going nutz whenever a dj drops it. Now in 2006, brand new HOT import mixes are being issued by Defected and we're excited to be releasing these stateside. New mixes by Freemasons, Ian Carey, Sergio Flores, DJ Takashiro, & Chocolate Puma (UK only) will be coming up on May 22nd. Freemasons give us a disco-tastic version, showing us that after issuing so many mixes on this record, they can still turn it out! DJ Takashiro follows also hitting us with a fabulous, more lush and ethereal account. Sergio Flores rounds this out, issuing a lovely melodic Afrobeat feel that brings a completely different element to this record. The legend lives on!

"DJ work it, Louder longer, Feel the thunder, DJ work it, Smash it, Kill it, DJ rip it, DJ work it, Better stronger, Harder faster, Pump it, Louder longer, Better stronger, Work it, Feel the thunder, Feel the hunger, Pump it, DJ work it, Over under Slam it, Smash it, Kill it, Trash it, Build it, Drill it, DJ rip it, Tear it, Destroy it, Burn it..." Isn't that a DJ's JOB?! So go the lyrics to the dark and deadly new single from the DJ Pierre's forthcoming album, "DJ Pierre's Afro Acid Project." A great follow-up (and mix with) his recent single, "Come Together (What is House)," this is the latest in a legacy of club tracks that leave 'em twitching for more. Fans of Photon, Inc.’s “Generate Power,” The Don’s “The Horn Song,” and DJ Pierre’s "Switch 2001" & “Mind Bomb”. Work it!

Swedish producers come CORRECT! with this brand new pumpin’ EP. “What Was” is a cinematic pure digital boogie with classic 4/4 beats, partial builds and synth jabs that’s sure to drive your dance floor mad. What a bassline! Kerri’s “Bar A Thym” would probably fit well into this one, but that’s your job. “Khula” is up next starting off deep & synthy giving us some more dance floor drama but a bit toned down. Still packs a nice pump! Rounding this EP off very nicely is “People I Know”, with its classic repetitive chords and intermittent vocal samples. There’s so much more to this record that words cannot describe. Just listen and shake that ass!
