Every (good) thing comes to an end as, per definition, has a start. Like this summer break, the end of which being synonymous with the restart of our activities. The opportunity to take new resolutions, following the footsteps of what we’ve previously announced before leaving in regards to the version 2.0 of IDMW.Com. A new version that we’ve wanted to fully embody our will to bring the best ever exposure to those vibes we’ve been supporting since our day 1. A wish to be fulfilled with the whole rebuilding of our site which we’ve been hardly working on over the last months, but also the redefinition of a method, as well as the arrival of new contributors on our editorial team. In other words, different things you’ll be able to notice the evolution of in the coming weeks. Some truly hard work in a period where, despite the profusion of reputed sources of infos, confusion has never seemed so big seinbg many of us taking for granted a whole bunch of people whose value is mainly based upon marketing support when so many real talents remain unjustifiably left in the shadow…
We’ve never ceased working on this since the beginning and no need to specify how we’re up to keep on that direction, with the addiction of new resources both technological and human due to help us going further on our quest for knowledge. Writings, sounds and images by the likes of the first, but maybe and even more, also the result of complementary experiences by the likes of the second… As many things that should help us making this space a place of regular transit dedicated to the GROOVE under its various forms and, subsequently, its most gifted purveyors.
We, for many of those you may read the writings of on those columns, have been lucky enough to get our knowledge from what we’ve considered as true references at the time and the moment has come for us to transmit this in the best thinkable conditions, the way it’s supposedly done as far as heritage is concerned. Differently said, an enormous gift about which, as you may guess, we’ll have to come back to the sources of, for a better understanding but also being in the position to make the difference between those who’ve been the creators of the whole thing along the years and those, more numerous, who’ve happend to be pale imitators, not to say impersonators. And no doubt that the amount of resources we’re on our way to make at your own disposal are up to really help you, shouldn’t you have already your own idea as far as the whole is concerned.
Time has now really come to update a few clocks if you see what we mean. Hopefully, September on IDMW.Com is the month of the watchmaking… MFSB
