Defected has grown as a label over the last two years and we have some exciting new talent to show off, including Dennis Ferrer, Ame and Junior Jack.

Defected Records sensationally returns to the Ministry of Sound for 2007.
Defected seem to be popping up everywhere. This small inde are on a roll with recent events in major cities across the UK including Leeds, Liverpool and Glasgow, as well as a sell out event at Cielo in New York (with queues literally around the block).
It doesn’t stop there Defected continue with their international residencies in Spain, Ibiza and Switzerland, me thinks things are clearly going on.
It has been decided it was time for us to have a presence in the heart of world clubbing – London. Defected In the House will return to the Ministry of Sound with four parties scheduled in 2007 with the first on May 5th.
For the house historians amongst you, Defected first emerged as a young pup from the dark and loud room of the Ministry in 2001 and continued their long residency until Dec 2004.
It’s been a while since the last residency which happened at Pacha London where the some absolutely legendary DJ talent played until Dec 2005. A long break of almost a year followed and was broken by our October 2006 extravaganza that attracted over 3000 clubbers to London’s now notorious Canvas. This event clearly showed that there was a big demand for quality house music in the Capital.

As ever dance music has evolved and changed and so too have the Defected headlining DJ’s. You can expect an array of international super jock talent including Junior Jack and Kid Crème bringing with them the power of their massive following in Europe. Dennis Ferrer, who is widely regarded as New York’s most innovative new producer, will enjoy a debut with us at the Ministry. This is also the first time for Italy’s Pasta Boys to perform with their tougher electronic sound. Simon Dunmore, copyright and Shovel complete this massive line-up.
Last time Defected held a residency at The Ministry of Sound was in 2001 until Nov 2004. Defected then later moved to Pacha London where it remained on a monthly basis from Feb 2005 – Dec 2006
In 2006 there were only 2 London based Defected events one at 100 Club 15th Feb 06, the other in Oct at Canvas London.
The Ministry of Sound has recently undergone another revamp with a new VIP area, balcony, new sound system, extra lounge bar and the new designed Babybox.
Other events at Ministry of Sound include, Nude, This is, Wonderland, Hi Tech Soul, Global Underground and Size.
