Sounds Like Ultra
ALAN SMITHEE in Blue Blackness
(white)

A name that might sound quite strange to some of you, although it's definitely
one of the anthems (if not THE) of this year's Miami Conference. A classy choice
indeed, from Danny Krivit to 'Little' Louie Vega and the likes
which is none other than this famous bootlegged revamp of the timeless "Tell Me
All About It" (looking like taken out from the OST of some romantic film)
originally penned by Mikael Franks at the beginning of the eighties prior
to be sung by Natalie Cole on her 2002 Ask A woman Who Knows album
for Verve with an incredible sensibility.
Is this appearently unofficial relifting to be
a part of some forthcoming Verve Remixed Album ? This we have no idea.
Nevertheless, what we know so far is that this wonderful song has already a
cover version by NYC-based Australian female singer Treena Rose with
production from George Mena scheduled for release in the coming weeks on
Jellybean Recordings and it's equally well worth to have a listen.
