WE ARE FAMILY...

More & more of you comin’ to those shores (which we deeply thank U 4) from almost everywhere in the world on a weekly basis, either readin’ our features or postin’ infos can’t be seen as a coincidence. As a matter of fact, it means more to us than you would ever think of. Beginning with the obligation made to us to improve the quality of both our content & service. But also maintaining alive that spirit which, obviously, is a part of our signature and subsequently the link between us.

In this world dominated by materialism where individualism has eventually been pushed to the limit, we’ve deliberately choosen to have our hearts opened to each initiative susceptible of expanding the visibility of what we believe to be the right thing. This no doubt being for much in the strong relations we’ve established along the years with a whole bunch of peeps who happen to share the same state of mind here and there. ‘Stronger Together’, ‘Make It Right, Make It Happen’, ‘Devotion’, ‘All Join Hands’ to name but a few are as many references from the past which we’ve made ours while developping our activities, and I guess this has had quite an impact on our progressive recognition.

On the other hand, we’ve always maintained the freedom of our view alive, even at the risk of being disowned by some, but let’s first not forget how disagreements may occure in every family. And second, how what might have been/may be perceived as a negative review from us has never had anything to do with personal consideration.

I remember a conversation which I’ve had with Ron Trent. This was quite some time ago when I used to come once or twice a year to his place in B’Klyn. I couldn’t help tellin’ him one day how I felt honoured while havin’ his house made mine and bein’ welcomed like a brother, despite hailing from another continent and having a whole different story. He simply said to me in return: I have an idea of where you’re comin’ from. I see both of us as parts of an ancient tribe, the members of which have been scattered all around the world… And you know what? I feel exactly the same – thanks to Internet – in regards to the numerous reactions we’ve received since our day 1 and the countless signs of faithfulness of those who’ve since become regular partners of ours.
