Brazil based French DJ Mustafa couldn’t do better for the season while comin’ up both with an album on Japanese label Rambling Records and this cut from it released as a single on Stalwart with add’l remixes courtesy of Mo’Horizons and Léo Cuenca. A nice revamp as a matter of fact of this song originally written by Jorge Ben with an ultra sensuous interpretation courtesy of female singer Luanda on a subtly arranged environment, somehow reminiscent of Sade’s approach on ‘Paradise’ most notoriously. Meanwhile Parisian jock/broadcaster/producer Léo Cuenca transforms the whole into a serious dancefloor driving affair establishing the link between Easydelics’ classic ‘Berimbau De Osahna’ released 10 years ago on NRK and former IDMW.Com Single Of The Week One51’s ‘Si Weka’ back in 2004.
