Life in music
has been such a pleasure this past month… On behalf of Ashé, I would like to
thank John 'Jellybean' Benitez and John G. for giving Ashé the opportunity to
share the gift of Lou's music at the WMC. 'Ain't Nuthin' But A House Party' at the
Riande Hotel was a refreshing event. Lou has a great way of warming up the
turntables to set the mood and vibe. It was nice gathering with all our friends in
the sun and fresh air... dancing our little dance. A couple of pics have been posted
on our website's message board if you would like to take a look.
Sunday evening
we went "back to our roots" at the 'House & Classic Party' at the Seville Hotel.
What is a party without true underground dancers ? Glad all the Lovers of the
Dance were there to experience the sounds of Lou and Victor Rosado as they took
us back, way back, back into time. So many larger parties to attend but being
the underground dancer that I am, I must mention, this was one of the best
parties and music I experienced during the week. We evoked with the sounds of the
music and worked that dancefloor, old school style ! Thanks to André Williams
and Crew of Soul Simple Entertainment for thinking "Classics" during the WMC'.
This Sunday,
March 28, Ashé will continue to share music and positive vibes. We are "moving
on up"… up to the East side of Manhattan. The Vudu Lounge & Nightclub is located
at 1487 First Ave. (Bet. 77th & 78th Street), NYC. Come by early because the
club is offering 2 for 1 drinks bet 6pm - 8pm. We hope you could join us in
celebration of Music, Dance & Unity !
