Currently causing quite a stir on the true
soul area, Yam Who? and Blackbeard are awaited for their their first ever show
in Bristol on Fri, Apr.16. It all started last year with Yam Who's
inspired version of Raphael Saadiq's "Skyy" and since then, between them
(working separately but sharing a purpose) they've gone on to produce an
increasingly brilliant line of 'pirate soul' re imaginings of tracks from Nas,
Freeway, Only Child, Talib Kweli, Beat Fanatic,
Pharrell, Dwele, Common, N'Dambi and most recently Damn!
