Davide Maffei was born somewhere in the south of Italy in 1978. He approched the "House Music" world in 1994 when he was 16, after being grown up with the influence of acid jazz as well as 70's and 80's funky and soul classics.
He not only learnt listening to the music but also playing it, getting the hang of those two fundamental instruments which are the bass and the guitar and playing with alongside a funk band in small pubs in the suburbs of his city .The final turning point would happen when, rambling in clubs as he was attracted by turntables, mixer and the vinyl sound !
Moving to Milan In 1998, Davide started to play in some clubs of the city and write as journalist for some local dance mag prior launching the HouseConnection project with the aim of providing Italy's soulful house scene with DJ mixes, music & party reviews + dance music promotions at the end of 2000
DJwise Davide holds over 30 venues to his name. In Milano with hotspots such as Q Club, Shocking club, G lounge, MyBali, Drome and La Casa 139 but also abroad doing clubs such as Saulenhalle (Zurich) , Lounge (Hamburg) , Vinyl (Coimbra), W (Lisbon) and Entrenous(London) to name but a few.

Over the past four years HouseConnection have built up an impressive network of contacts around the globe including DJ's & producers, record label, clubs, record stores and major music distribution channels

On the website you can find updated info , press release, charts & mixshow from all the HouseConnection artists, audio clips of current and forthcoming release from our roster of labels and our archieved success in club exposure, radio play and web coverage.
