We are proud to say that on the 25th of September Kindred Spirits will release the second Build An Ark album called Dawn on CD & VINYL (limited edition)

Dawn is the follow up to Build An Ark's internationaly acclaimed debut full-length Peace With Every Step. Featuring an amazing cast of instrumentalist/composers including Dwight Trible, Nate Morgan, Adam Rudolph, Phil Ranelin, Derf Reklaw, Munyungo Jackson and nearly 30 others, lead by producer Carlos Nino (Ammoncontact, Hu Vibrational, The Life Force Trio, The Sound Of L.A. a.o.) Build An Ark have created a modern masterpiece that tells of the coming age of transcendant consciousness and healing vibrations.

With 10 tracks total, 7 new originals flowing wonderfully with 2 classics by Pharoah Sanders and the great "Love, Sweet Like Sugarcane" by living legend Big Black (who's played and/or recorded with everyone from Sun Ra, Quincy Jones, Bill Cosby, Marvin Gaye, Randy Weston, Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba and Muhammad Ali), who joins the group on vocals and djembe, Dawn is a release that will resonate with music lovers of all kinds.

The album in memory of John Coltrane's 80th birthday "For JC, Love Is Supreme", a spiritual odyssey in respect to John Coltrane's philosophy will be re-released in the fall of 2007.

"For JC, Love Is Supreme" is a conformation that Coltrane's heritage is still alive, addressing new generations.
His approach called Spiritual Jazz has many faces. It can be found not only in jazz itself but it also finds reflection with those who look beyond for instance techno or hiphop music. Examples of this can be found on this compilation, like famous English producers team 4 Hero, Dwight Trible and Carlos Nino (Build an Ark) and Mark the Clive-Lowe , all inspired by Coltranes Spiritual Jazz.
