Colette was one of the first DJ's to mix personal vocals with the music she spins, helping to create a new genre of performance in the electronic world. Colette grew up watching and listening to the likes of Derrick Carter and Mark Farina, absorbing these informal lessons to hone her own DJ skills at the turn of the 90s. The classical music student has a sweet-but-sultry voice, which she began to use to sing and freestyle over other DJs' house music sets at the age of 16.
Colette feels no better rush or excitement than that which comes from improvising in front of a crowd. Fellow headliner and SuperJane collective founding member DJ Heather helped Colette overcome the fear of spinning in front of a crowd. DEEP fans are up for a treat this Sunday, as Colette gives them a taste of her new album Push . And house fans should expect no less than great dance music as Colette only continues to dish out the best blend of her vocals and signature mixes. Her first artist album, Hypnotized became the most downloaded dance album in America on iTunes. Hypnotized also included the dance floor burner "What Will She Do For Love" (Billboard's No. 1 Dance Club Play Single) and the title track, which was licensed to The Devil Wears Prada soundtrack.

With 15 years of experienced behind her, DJ Heather has grown to become one of the Windy City’s main DJ exports. Heather was exposed to an eclectic household music collection including jazz, blues, rock, soul, and folk as a child. She started as a hip hop DJ, but the propensity to play house increased with each gig. DJ Heather now specializes in house as she infuses disco, classic house and techno to her sets and maintains a soulful, head bobbin' approach that is reminiscent of hip hop.
Heather formed the first known female DJ collectives, SuperJane with Colette and Dayhota. A mixtape landing in the hands of a promoter, led to Heather's first trip to Paris. This opportunity led to Heather's transformation as a local DJ to a regular in the international circuit. She has played across Europe, and was the first African American woman to play in South Africa. Heather played with Mark Farina for three of his Mushroom Jazz series' tours. Heather won the Dancestar Award for Breakthrough DJ in 2002. She recently released the album Summer Sessions 2.

Vancouver's Todd Omotani is famous for tearing it up on the dance floors of his legendary club residencies with his ass shaking blend of house and garage. Omotani was lucky enough to have been introduced to house music in Calgary, Alberta by Canadian house music pioneer DJ Rice in the summer of 1987. In 1995 Todd’s best friend took him on a trip to the house music mecca of Chicago, Illinois. On his trips to Chicago, Todd formed strong friendships and bonds with DJ Heather, DJ Colette, Tim “Home & Garden” Shumaker, Gene Farris, Johnny Fiasco, Légo, Mark Grant, JDub, and Derrick Carter. But the key person that led to Omotani's learning and absorbing the Chicago style of DJing / production was the notorious Diz.
Returning back to Vancouver with his newfound knowledge, Omotani’s following grew to legendary status through notorious house nights at Vancouver’s biggest and most famous clubs, the world renowned Sonar, Shine, Bar None, Ginger 62, Celebrities, and Saturday resident for 7 years at the infamous “The World” afterhours. Todd's renowned residency at SOLID in Tokyo dubbed him the innovator behind the party which is now considered to be the city's foremost club night. He now makes his debut at DEEP
