What is this to be done when facing the same situation ? Complaining like so
many without moving the smallest toe? Trying to set our minds at ease while
rejecting the responsability to our neighbours ? A bit e-zee, isn't it ?
Experience if not psychotherapy would suggest us to change our behaviour when in
front of the same kind of set-backs…
E-zee said, some may argue, but where is the alternative ? Nowhere else than
inside our minds, while taking the time to observe the way things are going
nowadays…
Whatever the reality may be, let's not forget that it's the result of a global
will, itself being nothing but the translation of individual wishes…
As
said by visionnaire Gil Scott-Heron, the revolution is not to be
televised at all, it's already firmly there and what probably stands as the main
challenge that humanity has to face is its capacity to adapt itself to the new
rules that such a situation brings. Let's not forget that electricity was still
some dream solely a bit more than 100 years ago but what's a century in the
history of humanity at the end of the day ??? This said, our world has probably
never seen so many changes as during the aforementioned and history would tend
to tell us that we individually were not necessarily ready for this. Is it to
say that we have to try to stop this by any means necessary, following the
speeches of some politicians here or there ? Not really sure of this, I'd have
to admit as it's nearly impossible to refuse the march of a system in which
we're consciously or not taking part day after day… Why then ? Coz' we simply
can't have our cakes and eat'em too, coz' there always a price to pay. That
price being the obligation that is ours to tell ourselves that nothing stays the
same, making ourselves ready to accept the fact that what is true today may not
be the same anymore tomorrow… This situation putting us in the obligation to
mentally update ourselves to the ever changing rules of an environment which is
far more than our respective countries.
Such a reality which may seem cruel to some of us is nevertheless not a fatality,
depending on our way to have a look at things. We surely may say on one hand
that technology has brought the killing of hundreds of thousend jobs but what
would but our day to day life without it on the other one ? Would we be ready to
live without fire, wheels, electricity, telephone, electronics, jetliners,
computers, cell phones, Internet ? Yes or No ??? Guess we both know the response,
this leaving us in the obligation to accept if not to proceed the things, while
behaving differently in order to avoid meeting with what could be taken as a
fatal defeat…
Don't think we're left with another solution than drastically change our minds,
should we want to keep the minimum of control on the way we're living.
Revolution is definitely around, not only technologically speaking. Undertanding
this is a question of survival ; OUR survival !
Looks like we'd rather have to reinvent ourselves… MFSB
