Toronto club and concert promoters Hot Stepper Productions (Pedro,
Joseph and Carlos Mondesir) along with partner
Sarah McGee are proud to announce that we are the operators of The
Tangier Nightclub located at 69 Bathurst Street just south of King St West, the
new destination location for discerning clubbers. This venture follows the
success of our first venue Tangerine Bar & Lounge (The
adjective tangerine is an English word first recorded in 1710 meaning
“of or pertaining to Tangier”).
The Tangier is a loft style club with high
ceilings, generous space, a premium digital sound system and incredible music
from top-notch talent.
Our Interzone Saturday nights
will feature in the early evening an excellent selective journey of electro,
disco, funk, cheeky rock, leftfield, nu jazz, soul and the latest mash-up tracks.
Late night we will complement with quality house, warehouse jams, 80’s classics
and whatever’s clever at the right time - every time compliments of DJ's
Mike Tull (Bump
N' Hustle / Fascination) and Kevin Williams.
The Tangier on
Friday
evenings will host an array of events including
Garage 416,
special Bump N’ Hustle
parties and many others featuring the excellent international and local talent
bookings that Toronto has come to expect from Hot Stepper Productions and the
independent promoters who we count as our respected friends and colleagues.
