MONEY'S TOO TIGHT TO MENTION...
There’s a time for everything as we may obviously expect anything to happen (the first question coming to mind being what’s gonna be next?), from the best to the baddest, judging by the effects of the revolution we’re in the middle of. But if ever one thing is for sure, it’s the fact that there’s no other choice than adapting ourselves to the current situation. This, at this precise moment, meaning the obligation to find ways to survive, facing the whole mess around brought by the ongoing mutation process of our environment, until a new balance is to be found (the second if not the main interrogation now being when is this gonna happen?)….
Dis-something… The list seems endless of the words in the position to be preceeded by the ‘Dis’ prefix, from disorganization to distructuration, not to mention the inherent disfunctionments that comes with in regards to the situation we’re currently livin’ in addition to some expectable disenchantment from people who, despite hard working, have seen the results of their commitment progressively devaluated to almost nuts along those last years… Looks like we’re in the middle of a total revolution, agrees NYC DJ/producer Matthias Heilbronn… From the death of the physical formats to the arrival of a new generation of consumers with a far different approach as compared to the one which was ours back then, comin’ as an echo to what Danny Krivit recently said on those pages in regards to the dematerialisation of the music:I can appreciate the side of it that allows you more options & choices, but I really don't appreciate its substitution for vinyl, or the laziness it promotes. Bit of a Pandora's box!!!
Now that we’ve opened it, pursues Heilbronn, we have to deal with what comes out of it. The only way to go is forward now. I am just hoping that it will go quicker, because it’s not looking that great for a lot of people and businesses... And the fact is, how can one think about doing proper deals in this ever changing environment where everything seeming to date by the time I’m writing those lines will probably be already outworn when you read them???
The massive arrival of technology has no doubt brought new perspectives to the humanity, becoming an essential part of its daily environment. This said, I’m just talkin’ about humanity as a whole. As in regards to its components – in other words, you as I – I guess the same won’t be said, if ever it is, before the setting of rules establishing a balance that will allow the different actors of this said new economy to exist in regards to their respective efforts and commitment. Then if not, that would pretty mean the risk of a dive into a bottomless box for a big majority of us without the sole insurance of even seing the face of its reputed owner known as Pandora!
