December 2007 edition Happy Festivus Upcoming Events

Welcome to the Do Right Newsletter  Happy Festivus 2007 was another Do Right year. Big thanks, hugs and kisses to everyone! We couldn't have done it without your support and collaboration. This year saw the release of albums by  the SoulJazz Orchestra, Abdominal, Elizabeth Shepherd, and Required Listening Vol. 2. All instant new classics and critically acclaimed across the board. Elizabeth Shepherd got a Juno nod and toured Tokyo. Abdominal won the SOCAN's Echo Songwriting prize for 'Pedal Pusher', and SoulJazz took France by storm playing a sold-out tour, oui oui. We're keeping up the momentum and expect even more for 2008. New releases by Justis, Elizabeth Shepherd, Ivana Santilli, and Isis are in the pipeline, plus the re-launch of our sub-label 'Left of The Dial', featuring the tech / house side of Do Right's releases. We are also bringing back the 7-inch vinyl format, launching the new year with Left Coast's Cutty Lark, 'Get Caught' nu-funk 45! As you're all waiting with baited breath, we're sure, come celebrate a year to remember Do Right style. You got it, Christmas is just around the corner, this Friday the 14th: 'DO RIGHT HOLIDAY JAM' at Supermarket.
