More than 20 years have gone since NYC East Village-based Scott Wozniak’s first appearence as a session musician workin’ for Vanessa Daou, Toni Braxton, Shannon and Zelma Davis of C&C Music Factory to name but a few prior droppin’ releases under his own banner in the early 90’s for labels such as Nervous, Freeze and King Street… Quite a long way which would help this attaching face becomin’ a complete talent along the years as a producer, a remixer, an arranger and an engineer, not to mention a multi-instrument accomplished player. This being for much on his massive presence on countless projects nowadays with a full-length Scott Wozniak Band album awaited later in the year. Here he comes with a slightly different approach fusing deep tech-inherited synth lines with a funky bassline around spoken words sensually delivered by Angelica Linares and the result is, you’ve guessed it, devastating.
