No need to be a reputed observer though to realize how, at first listen, the man had definitely a strong background after collaborating on no less than 14 albums with the late Hector Lavoe (Louie Vega’s uncle!!!). Quite a transcient appearence, but a full maestria as displayed on this awesome blend made of insane rhythmic arrangements over a typical percussive piano line and a vibrant trombone solo serving as the ideal environment for our man’s interpretation with co-production work courtesy of Yvonne Turner.
