No doubt if a regular visitor to
IDMW.com, how the names of this label and the people involved on it
should sound familiar to you. Thanks to our Japan Corner man,
Nik Weston who, given the responsability of this selection, displays a new
illustration of what he's into. Groove at its finest with a real touch of
eclectism, which is – no doubt – the sign of people having some strong
background. And the fact is, there's a bit of (good) everything in this
collection of remixes of material from UFO, Susumo Yokota,
Force Of Nature, Fat Jon and Plej by the likes of
Osunlade, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Jimpster, Bugz In The Attic,
Swell Session, Akufen, Spiritual South, Quantic and
Moonstarr cleverly adding their particular touches to this. From latin to
jazz funk fuelled jams, breakbeat, minimal atmospherism with a continuous sign
of aesthetism and good if not sunny mood. Summertime is definitely on.
