Wanted to share with you the info on a great party, since I attended almost every week back in 1991! This underground event was some of the best years I had in the history of going out in the scene, one great party !
In 1991, a diverse underground dance culture was just beginning to come together. Caffeine was created to nurture and expand on that culture. In the process, it became one of the most influential and groundbreaking clubs on the East coast. As the first weekly underground club in the New York area, Caffeine cultivated some of todays top DJ talent.
The doors to Caffeine have been closed since 1996, but many have longed for them to open once again ! The wait is over. The original Long Island underground has surfaced once again. Caffeine is back again, for a one night only reunion this Fri, Sept 17 featuring Micro, Frankie Bones, Scott Henry, Onionz, Dave Trance and X-Dream behind the decks. Doors open at  09:00pm
