Unless you've spent these last weeks on a desert
island, guess you've already heard about what stands as one of the events of
this year. In other words, the return of Chicago house pioneer, Chez Damier
with some brand new material after a 5 year break. Things undoubtly change
within such a period time for each of us seing our man on a totally organic vein
alongside The Cru for what has to be taken as a sweet and mellow deep
jazzy groove, the title of which sounding for us as a sort of self encouragement
to pursue in such a delicate direction. Meanwhile the B-side – another remix of
some material made with Ron Trent back in the days – almost sounds like
those repetitive Detroit sounds recently revamped by Soul Central amongst
others. And as suggested on the title, expect a vol.2 very soon. MFSB
