As I sit here at my computer looking for the words for my very
last weekly
BTP e-update, I find myself at a loss. After writing these
letters to you
most every week for as long as I've had an
internet connection, well, I just don't know how to leave it with you. Two
weeks ago, I gave you a long explanation about the reasons why we've decided to
end our weekly event. I told you about all of the things we have planned for
the immediate future. I thanked you all exuberantly. What more can I say ? ....
I guess I could try to pique your interest by telling you about
what happened at last week's party or tell you about what I anticipate for the
upcoming one,
but why bother ? This Fri 12/19 2003 will be the last Bang The Party. We can
only imagine what might ensue. (~INSERT
IMAGINATION HERE~). Besides the things we know to
be true - EMan, Antonio Ocasio and Samir spinning their hearts out, Jackson
painting a special farewell dedication piece, Steve filming the closing scene (now
with a surprise twist !) for the BTP documentary - only the Shadow knows what
could happen ?!
Myself, I imagine a large group of people
intermittently sweating (from dancing so hard) and crying (about the end of BTP)
making the whole dancefloor slippery ! I welcome you to dream up your most fun,
creative,
loving
and wild house music fantasy and live it out with us at the final
Bang The Party
this Friday night.
