It's all about vocal productions this week. We're kicking
things off with one of my Winter Music Conference faves from this year: "Chase
The Blues" by Keith Rivera aka DJ Messiah. Beautiful dance music
coming deep out of the soul. This 12" also features "This Fire", another great
song not to be missed.
Lefunken's "Angel" finally gets a full 12" release after only being
available on limited 2 track test-pressings. There are great new mixes included
on this sweet production.
Blaze are behind the new Alexander Hope "Big mistake" which is
released on the Southport Weekender 2x12" vniyl sampler that also
includes the much talked about "Obatala" by Mental Remedy in its raw and
unfinished Joe Claussell mix. Talking about Blaze, their "When I
Fall In Love" featuring Sybil has been given the remix treatment by
Quentin Harris.
French maestro Franck Roger is back with a brand new release "You Can Be
The One", co-produced by M'Selem and featuring Chris Wonder on
vocals while Mood II Swing return to the scene with "I Got Love"
featuring vocalist Lea-Lorien and remixes by 83 West.
Other news this week are from Trüby Trio whos "Alegre" gets remixed by
Louie Vega, David Bank Project with "Good Lovin'", West End's
latest nugget "Strong" by the likes of Steal Vybe featuring Chris Dockins,
the Scott Wozniak mixes of "Tropical Hurricane" by Savapie featuring
Jeanine Lopardo and finally "Musica" by Shik Stylko.
