SARAH JANE MORRIS
It's Jesus I Love
(Irma)
Some of you may remember Mrs Morris
with the famous "Dream On Baby" receiving the remix treatment by the likes of
Ron Trent a couple of years ago on that label. Well, the lady's back with
another true corker to be added to her belt, but wait a minute. If thinking
about anything related to gospel as the title may suggest it, then forget about
it, as the message is both much more and ironically simplist than that, talkin'
about that internal need we at some time feel of being confronted with the bad
in order to have a better knowkledge of what the good is at the end of the day.
A universal feeling which finds the ideal environment courtesy of Max Sedgley
adding much drama emphasis to this atmospheric phonk driven breakbeat.
Meanwhile, Martin Iveson aka Atjazz draws a sensuous atmosphere
around the lazy and jazzy "Nothing Comes From Nothing" on the flip. What a(nother)
contrast this time from a track to another on the same package. MFSB
