As a matter of fact, Townes doesn't only mix the beats, he's providing a part of the history of the groove, while blending the periods and the fact is that there would be no tomorrow without a today as well as no today without yesterday. As well as there's no black without white, no soft without hard, no good without bad and vice-versa. From Booker T & The MG'S evergreen "Melting Pot" bringing us back sometime in the mid 70's to the very latest in terms of experimentation as shown by Jazztronik, Vikter Duplaix and the likes and a bit of classics for a better comprehension of the masses, Jeff cleverly uses his entertaining skills to give a better view of where we're coming from and this definitely should be taken as a true sign of hope for the new generations to come.
