If entering a new year sees many people thinking about applying new resolutions, expecting us to be any different as we're growing would be a bad sign of knowing who we are, not to say an insult to all of those who've supported us since day 1. IDMW.Com hasn't been conceived in any way with the intention of say yes to everything as many have done throughout the years in their will to make quick money. But stay true to its original goal of providing the community (you) with what we deeply believe in. Some of you may think that we're sometimes kind of aggressive. Well, if expressing ideas with the sole purpose of making our supposedly duty while contributing to a wider acceptance of what we think to be the right cause is being aggressive, then we definitely are… As opposed to all that obligingness which has made our common world the way it is today. Independant, that's what we are…

Cogito ergo sum (I am because I think)… Let's never forget about that quotation from seminal philosopher Descartes. Might well be tempted to add that one of French author Albert Camus: Penser, c'est réapprendre à voir, diriger sa conscience (To think is re-learning to see, be the master of one's own conscience)… Needless to say how far we are from this on our current environment led by a mass media driven system trying to get us under the power of the so called unique thought! On a more appropriate contextual way, let me remind you Joi Cardwell's words: Individual is the key to providing diversity, unity comes from merging. Hybrids are always stronger than purebreds… Words that (again) speak widely for themselves, illustrating at its very best our state of mind and the way we've been acting since the beginning. But believe this, we sometimes end up thinking that everything could have been pretty much easier for us to go with the flow as most Medias have done, rather than supporting at some time some people who don't even recognize what we're doing… Or don't want to, always trying to find a good reason, like: Ooh, you knaow ? We can't provide you with the promos because it's too expensive, or because we're commissioned to work with DJ's only, or UK people, or because we're not based here or there, and the kitchen sink… Then what about us? Wouldn't it be easier at the end of the day and making more sense to spend our time, money and energy in supposedly more profitable activities???

Funny how we sometimes have to fight within the community itself with people who, on one hand, would take advantage from it without having the correction to pay their tribute to it… And you would like us to be cool with them at the same time?

No way and not even a single inch. Life (true relations) have never worked like a one way street. If claiming to receive, you gotta know that you also have to give, unless risking to be taken like an asshole at some point, and I would really like to state that OUR community doesn't need such behaviours. Enuff of the usual blah blahs… We ain't got anymore time for this and the people who are their purveyors. Many of us are working hard for our common interests to be recognized on a bigger scale, then let us make what has to be done in the name of the values we're sharing. We're amongst the rare people to have that privilege or expressing our passion when working. So let's gather our forces on our will to build a platform to adhere to mainstream. As for our own concern here on IDMW.Com, we're on a mission and that's just the beginning.
