We all have been very glad to welcome
Jhelisa Anderson as a guest on our latest Point Of View [re:jazz]
project. Her voice has underlined the beauty of the [re:jazz] version of
"Inner City Life". Now we are more than happy to be able to announce that her
next album will be released on INFRACom!.
Jhelisa has fascinated us ever since. Her solo career began in 1995 with her
debut album Galactica Rush. Having released her second album (Language
Electric), she toured the UK, Europe and Japan with legendary James Brown,
The Roots, Michael Franti and Roy Ayers. She appeared on
numerous other recordings by Bryan Ferry, Courtney Pine, Chaka
Khan and many more, but whatever she did her style always was and is beyond
description.
The yet untitled new album will be recorded
between January and March in New Orleans for a later later in the year.
INFRACom! crew,
