Here we go,
leaving the post New Year's recovery period with another hot gem from the
Jellybean stable. The first gut to be taken from Marlon D's debut album
due to hit the streets some time in March is another of those classicaly
handcrafted destructive groove you would imagine to be played during the
peaktime at the Zanzibar. An instant impression of e-ziness as generally being
the result of talent melting those infectious key lines over an effective beat
making the ideal environment for the vocal interpretation of female singer
J.R. Morrison. Then the useful dubs on the flipside for those into more
abstract vibes. Jellybean Recordings looks like opening 2005 the way it has
enlighted 2004 ; quite a good example to think about. MFSB
