As you may know,
Rob da Bank has been presenting The Peel Show following the
sad departure of the great man late last year. Well, Radio 1 have now
announced that John’s show is to be succeeded by One Music - three
shows hosted by three DJ's, dedicated to championing a diverse, unpredictable
and non-commercial mix of new music.
Our Robby
is going to present the Thursday night show, which will air between 11:00pm and
01:00am every week, and we hope you will all tune in and show him your support!
The other two shows will be presented by Huw Stephens (Tues) and Ras
Kwame (Weds).
One Music
will begin on Feb.1st.

Rob
will also continue to present his
ever-popular Blue Room show on Saturday mornings between 05:00 and
07:00am.
If you’re not up
that early, you can always listen to the show again here -

And in not totally unrelated news, you should also be aware that Rob’s new
single, under his Lazyboy alias (alongside Dan Carey), is out now
on CD and 12”! It's called "Police Dogs Bonfire" & comes with stunning remixes
by Linus Loves and Reverso 68 and you really should have already
treked down to your local record emporium and claimed your copy. And, while
you’re there, why not snap up a copy of the Lazyboy album - Penguin
Rock. It...errr... rocks!
Jolly good show!
