Politics Of Dancing: RAISE THE ROOF…
Posted on Monday, January 24 @ 17:48:55 CET by mfsb

The Politics Of Dancing

Funny how human intelligence has this capacity of generating the best of both worlds, torn between light and darkness, beauty and ugliness, positivity and… negativity, heaven and horror (call them whatever you want). And quite ironical to see the medias mainly focussing on the latest, as if having us depressed was the ultimate mean for them to have the full control on each of us. Not a single day without hearing about a tragedy if not a catastrophis here or there. But what about the other side of life, its reputed beauty ? And what about those of us who, by their acting, are the progenerators of it and subsequently those who show us that everything remains possible ?

There's an obvious search for knowledge and how else could it be at the end of the day, judging by the way info is currently treated nowadays, displayed like vulgar products to be instantly consummed ? This meaning absence of depth and more widely anything that could make us think as individuals, as opposed to the world of mass consumption we're living in with subsequent gods and media. This said and like anywhere else, an extreme always leads to another ; an obvious illustration to this being offered throughout the thousands of messages dropped on forums here and there on a daily basis… Quite reassuring I would say as being the proof of a need for something drastically different, even though this might take some time before seing us getting rid of our current habits on a wide scale and, as a direct consequence out of that system living on us.

Our current urbanized societies have been conceived with everything except the will to have us thinking and as former Roman Imperator Julius Caesar used to say : It's easier to divide than unite. And the fact is that History (once more) speaks for itself, from the progressive disappearance of notions such as tribes, neighbourhood if not family, having most of us living on our owns, without talking anymore to the boy/girl next door, if not the members of our own families with each of their members watching reputedly dedicated programs on their own spaces…

Humans haven't been made to live like this, as notoriously shown in countries not as industrialised as the so called Western ones and this absolute evidence is no doubt to be considered as the cradle of an emerging new way of thinking seing people expressing themselves and, as a result, exchange ideas and recreate communities of shared interests. And we'd (the media) rather take notice of this while being offered like this the opportunity to have a better view of the ones we address our messages to then give a better response to their expectations. Once again, you receive, you give, so better pay attention to what we're currently offered in order to get back to it on the most acurate way. That's the deal as being the basic principle of any relation. Yes, it's as simple as it seems, having us in the obligation to know each of us better on our hope/will to build the foundation of a system where each of us will be fully able to recognize him/herself. In other words, what we need is unity as opposed to uni… formisation, meanwhile putting all our preconceived ideas aside and make ourselves in the position of considering the boy/girl next door's ideas at least as legitimate as our very own ones. As gathering differences instead of refusing them the way we tend to do is the sole way of having us living in a better world.

Open our eyes, raise our roofs, that's where the light is.
