MICHAEL PROCTER

Michael Procter broke on the dance scene with his first garage vocal house song, "Deliver Me" written and produced by himself alongside Marc Pomeroy & Brian Tappert in a garage studio and a hot sweaty vocal booth the size of a phonebooth ! They together wrote and produced "Love Don't Live", the second Michael Procter release and also "Fall Down", the third in the series in addition to the hit single "Movin" by Mone on Strictly Rhythm.

The success of these first three records marked and established Marc and Brians' record company (Soulfuric Records)  & Michael's Mychan Records & Publishing. Michael is on a constant tour schedule for live PA's. Since his first live house performance at the  1996 Wmc Soulfuric Party, his performances haven't stopped. And you would know why if you ever attended a Michael Procter live performance… It's the sweat, energy, the drive, the soul, the power of the music, the message, the voices !

When you hear that driving house beat kick in, you know you are about to be a part of an experience ! You become part of the show, because Michael believes that house music is to dance to and celebrate to and rejoice in. It's all about the love… The love of what we do, the love for the people we do it with, and the love of God for letting us do it.

Michael performs in house & dance clubs, from America to Switzerland, England, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Turkey and Austria. At any given show, you could hear him doing any number of his hit singles from "Deliver Me" to "Paradise", "Change", "Love Don't Live", "Work It", "Early Morning Love", "Fall Down", "Give It To Me" or maybe something unreleased and at times he just adlibs to one of the many dub tracks of his songs or does an accapella rendition of a jazz staple…

Michael also was chosen by the country of Switzerland to be a featured artists  on a musical CD titled Soul Of Switzerland which includes a jazz ballad of his called "Always" which will be used in an international  promotional campaign for the country, before performing and hosting the CD release party in London in November.

Living in Las Vegas, Michael runs his indie record label, Mychan Records & Publishing and works with many of the major dance music clubs, producers and DJ's around the world. You can also check his old school R&B radio show called MP's Soulheaven via Internet – live365.com/stations/307744 - or on his own site, mprocter.com. And, starting from now, on IDMW.com where his going to add his voice to our editorial tean with a monthly column. Check dis out !
