Build An Ark – With 18 members spanning generations and genres, Build An Ark unites once
again for a special extended set of majestic soul-jazz.
Busdriver – Though known for founding Project Blowed and his work with a variety of cutting edge L.A.
musicians, Busdriver is a musical collaboration unto himself, effortlessly mixing vocal jazz, theatrics
and spoken word deep into territory yet uncharted by hip hop.
Dublab Soundsystem – The vibrant DJ collective known as Dublab returns to drop science
at the Natural History Museum with mind-melting body-moving DJ sets from Frosty, Farmer Dave,
Kutma,DJ Allen, Daedelus, and more. Expect a few surprise musical guests to grace the soundsystem.
Daedelus – Songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, the one and only Daedelus shares his
avant-electronic love-sound with a small jazz combo for an unforgettable set of sonic dream vibrations.
DJ Jimmy Tamborello – Famous for his memorable collaborations in Dntel and Postal Service,
Jimmy Tamborello will serve up some of his favorite music from behind the wheels of steel.
Dengue Fever – Possibly the best example of audio alchemy in Los Angeles, Dengue Fever are a group
of seasoned local musicians joined by Cambodian superstar vocalist Chhom Nimol to perform modern
renditions of the vibrant Cambodian rock music of the 60s and 70s. If that sounds amazing, well... it is!
Video DJs Mekanix and Victor Solomon will provide all night visual music by mixing images from the
Conversations exhibit with footage from the stage, the dancefloor and the dioramas.
