EZ all RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRavin' cru! I'm just back from the most amazing, dazzling, wicked wickend inna London fashion!
And here I am still standing tall on my two mashed up feet as an hardcore soundbwoy souljah,
feelin like a marathon man..."IN PARADISE" - EZ Simbad -
And for me a ruff & tuff 4 days straight jump up marathon it was...literally!
FULL RESPECT 2 DA STAMINA MASSIVE!
Starting in style saturday night with Broadcite record release @ Soho Spice (Afronaught & Lazer cru's gettin' proper Millie - Ease up EXP)
then Sunday Carnival Co-Op - da third year inna -west- row in full swing with many highlights like an oustanding deep boogie set by da Don Daddy Marc Mac - representing the R family proudly, so as Ian Da Rebel
...while simultaneously poppin' in and out of Good Times ( Gillesy P & Norm' Jay - happy 25 birthday! and what a celebration it was!),
then two private after Carnival parties in the Notting Hill area,
then hold tight for this one...
meeting out completely out of the blue the living legend Arthur Baker (!!!!!!) while eating a burger outside his new soul food bar / restaurant in West London... now what a big surprise!
...then straight into da bruk bumrush, takin it to the top with the usual hot lot - IG, Daz etc plus a special appearance by the ever inspiring and informative old school duo Phil Asher & Patrick Forge in da heat of Co-Op @ Plastic People...
to end in total bliss yet another incredible night with the man... my favourite dj, absolutely untouchable, da almighty Theo Parrish @ TDK from 3 till 6 in da morning ...
OH GOSH! At that point I was flying high and high...higher and ailleurs... but could barely walk anymore ! lol
...and finally Monday back again in the Good Times frenzy till da final countdown!
So right about now I 'm overwhelmed and lost for words, I can only say that I feel so blessed for sharing this glorious moments of good life in the sunshine ...
giving thanks and praise to the most I ...
and to all da London connection hold tight...too many friends to mention but you know how much I love you all, each & heavy one of ya all
